KDSB embarked on its journey in March 2018 with an initial equity investment of $74.2 million. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to enhancing the quality of life for the people of Cambodia through new and used car financing, agricultural machinery loans, and real estate mortgage loans. As a result of our steadfast commitment, KDSB has now grown into a robust financial institution with total assets reaching $232.4 million.

Furthermore, in December 2024, we successfully completed the merger with i-Finance Leasing Plc. (“iFL”), a company specializing in leasing, thereby solidifying our position as a leading Specialized Bank in Cambodia. This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without your trust and support.

Our parent company, KB Kookmin Card, as part of KB Financial Group—Korea’s premier financial conglomerate—has provided unwavering support to ensure KDSB's stable and sustainable growth. 2023 has been the most challenging year in KDSB’s history because we faced so many difficulties from the impact of external factors such as the world economic crisis. Nevertheless, we could still manage the crisis well and maintain the following financial figures.

Bank Culture

KDSB has established with a very unique bank culture, making KDSB be a differentiated banking institution in Cambodia.

Korean Language Course The Korean language course is one of the educational bank cultures. It was created in 2019 which the basic course of Korean language was provided to employees who are willing to learn a new language for their future development. The class was successfully finished in 2020 and the student who successfully completed the course was rewarded with a prize and certificate of completion from the CEO.

Korean Food Cooking Club The cooking club is a very unique culture of KDSB. It was created with the aim of pleasing employees after their hard work during the week. Thus, the club opens on every second Friday evening. By joining this club, employees can learn the history/culture of each menu and how to cook popular Korean food. Not only providing knowledge related to foreign food, the club is also a place where employees build good relationship across department/team. The employees’ happiness is seen through their smiling faces and fun chatting during each class of the club.
